Education Honor Walk for Earth Day 2025

"Our Land, Our Power, Our Planet"

Come walk through Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma land and read waysides of Ioway history from ca. 1600s - 2010. All will learn through this interactive event of Education Sovereignty by honoring Ioway tribal history, removal, and resilience. This powerful event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC for all to learn and participate but Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Members are encouraged to RSVP the walk to reserve a t-shirt. Must attend the event to receive the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma historic commemorative t-shirt. RSVP by Friday March 30, 2025. After the RSVP deadline, there will be t-shirts at the event issued on a FCFS basis to the public participants. Accommodation will be provided for participating elders.
