Grey Snow Police Badge

Vision

We are committed to being a leader and setting standards in law enforcement through integrity, service, knowledge, and professionalism.

The Iowa Tribe Police Department has officially transitioned to our new name: the Grey Snow Police Department. This change reflects both our community identity and the cultural heritage of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. “Grey Snow” comes from the translation of Bah Kho-je, meaning “People of the Grey Snow,” a traditional name for our Tribe. By adopting this name, we honor our past while strengthening the connection between our policing mission and the people we serve. While our name has changed, our commitment has not. The Grey Snow Police Department continues to provide the same level of professionalism, proactive service, and collaborative support that you have come to expect.
